BAIS is a boutique financial services firm based in New York. We provide customized financial planning, strategic consulting, and asset management services to high net worth individuals, small businesses, and institutional clients.
Alex Berman, Ph.D
Founder and Managing Director
Dr. Berman is an executive member of the BAIS Enterprise team. Prior to founding BAIS Enterprise, he was a Vice President at the Goldman Sachs and a Director at Barings. His prior roles involved analyzing global financial securities, developing and implementing investment strategies, and participating in portfolio management. He also represented Barings as the member of the 6-seat Board of Directors of FIMI, a Private Equity and Mezzanine financing company that is focused on Israeli markets.
Dr. Berman has a BS in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, a MBA with a concentration in finance from Boston University, and a Ph.D. in International Business and Strategy from Temple University.
Rost Aizenberg
Member of the Advisory Board
Mr. Aizenberg is a senior advisor to the BAIS Enterprise team with a focus on strategic consulting and business development. He has over ten years of experience in the logistics and distribution industry and a wide network of professional contacts across Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Mr. Aizenberg worked previously developing and managing international logistic infrastructure that emphasised on global trade and distribution of food and beverage products.
Mr. Aizenberg has a BS in Sociology from Cornell University and a MBA from Wagner College.
Vitaly M. Pirotsky
Member of the Advisory Board
Mr. Pirotsky is a senior advisor to the BAIS Enterprise team with a focus on the Healthcare sector. He has over twelve years of professional experience in the global Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries, and was a partner in Real Estate and Distribution-related projects. Mr. Pirotsky worked previously for leading Pharmaceutical companies, such as Pfizer and Fresenius Medical, and also covered Healthcare sector as an Analyst at Cambridge Healthtech Associates, a Massachusetts-based Consulting and Venture Capital firm.
Mr. Pirotsky has a Masters in Global Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Masters in Chemistry from Samara Tech University. He also completed leadership and finance courses at Harvard University and MIT.
